ROSWELL, GA: Roswell’s Events of a Lifetime Productions was recognized by the Atlanta Live Events Industry with three (3) prestigious Allie Awards. They won Best Social Event, Best Tabletop Design, and Best Team for a Social Event. All awards were given for their conceptualization, design, and production of “Till Death, a Goth Wedding Celebration,” in the spirit of The Phantom of the Opera.

“It is a great honor to be recognized not only by our Atlanta peers but those across the nation who work in the live event space and were chosen as the non-biased judges for the competition,” said Gillian Marto, Founder and CEO of ELP.

Ms. Marto explained that ELP’s clients had to postpone their wedding three times due to Covid and finally married quietly. The themed evening was in response to their desire to have an epic celebration with their family and friends- not only to honor their nuptials, but to celebrate the ability to gather with friends and loved ones again. As fans of the epic, Goth love story Phantom of the Opera, ELP produced an experiential evening full of mystery, fun and surprises including a Goth mermaid in the pool and the live, strolling table. Indeed, the “Best Tabletop Design” award was bestowed on ELP’s “Pick Your Poison,” live strolling table. The table featured a gracious moon goddess who greeted guests and served signature, smoking cocktails in beakers complete with silver skull straws.

The Atlanta Event Industry’s Gala Allie Award Show and Dinner entitled “Imagine” was held at the Hyatt Regency. As a 501C- organization, the Allie Awards culminated in the award of a scholarship to a college student pursuing a career in Hospitality Management. “It’s a great night that not only celebrates excellence and creativity in Atlanta’s event community, but supports the next generation of event professionals,” explained Debra Hull, VP of ELP.
